Description |
The Partnership Center for Development & Democracy (PCDD) office is a friendly environment with many opportunities to learn and extend your outreach and connections. PCDD offers internships in an effort to provide students or recent graduates with the opportunity to translate what they learned into real everyday situations. These internships are opportunities for students to apply academic learning to actual work experience in order to be prepared to become the workforce of the future. Internship opportunities are offered through the year as well as during the summer. The length of the internship varies upon the availability of the interns, but PCDD gives preference to internships lasting a minimum of 3 months. Working hours are approximately 35 hours per week but may be adapted to the needs of the interns.
PCDD is committed to provide the interns with a stimulating working atmosphere and significant performances and skills that will enrich their work experience. Students will learn how to deal with a multifunctional environment and how to perform an autonomous or team work. The Center will orient interns upon their arrival and introduce them to the staff. The interns will have the opportunity to observe and work with the team on all projects and to participate to PCDD's overall development strategy; thus gaining an in-depth understanding of how a non-profit organization operates. |
